What to include in a technical report
- The tool page URL and the steps that caused the problem.
- Your device type, operating system, browser name and browser version.
- Input and output formats, approximate source dimensions and file sizes.
- Quality or PNG mode, resize settings, platform preset and approximate batch size.
- The exact visible error, or the expected result compared with what happened.
Remove personal information from screenshots and copied error messages. Do not send passwords, payment details, private filenames or confidential images. A small synthetic or public sample you have permission to share is preferable if a sample becomes necessary. We cannot inspect your local queue remotely or retrieve files that were never uploaded.
Before reporting an unexpected file size
JPG or HEIC photographs can become larger when exported as PNG, even when conversion succeeds. Different formats optimize different kinds of content. Review the result explanation, compare the original and output at 100%, and check whether a resize or white platform canvas was selected. Same-format size protection applies only when dimensions and the canvas are unchanged.
For a detailed workflow, see the PNG to WebP guide or the Shopify image preparation guide.

For a copyright concern, identify the website material and provide enough context to investigate. For a suspected security issue, describe a minimal reproduction without exploiting other users or sending secrets. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for the current scope and limitations.
